CHALLENGE: The goal is to create a refreshed look for Showers Pass outerwear in the Bike Commuter Lifestyle category. The designs should have clean lines. Style and utility should be in balance while meeting the target price.
CONSIDERATIONS: Selection of a 2.5 layer waterproof fabric and reflective trims were key in meeting both the functionality and safety requirements of the design project. By following trend reports for a long-line fit with high-low hem, this allowed the style to be transitional from bike to street wear.
RESULTS: Chosen as winning design. Feedback from Showers Pass design team: "We felt this design effort had the best overall execution, from concept to finished sample. The finished product exudes cycling DNA yet could clearly be worn off the bike and still receive compliments".
