I moved to New York after working as a Designer/Developer in Portland, OR. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Apparel Design from The Art Institute of Portland in 2016. My experience includes working on the following product categories: soft goods accessories, Children’s ski/snowboard gear, Women’s activewear, Men’s sportswear, activewear, and socks & underwear.
My design approach is research based through trend reports and current market offerings. I like to see what is missing in the current market and find a way to implement these missing pieces into my designs. I believe that focusing on the sustainable aspects of our industry is necessary: whether this is reflected through using recycled materials, biodegradable trims, or finding ways to adjust pattern markers to reduce on waste.
